We want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We celebrated Christmas with friends, Nancy, Clark and Carol, going to the Gold Mine Restaurant in the foothills of the Superstition Mountains near Apache Junction, AZ. We had a family style meal with a plate of ham, chicken and dressing as well as a platter of BBQ beef ribs that were delicious. Along with sides of green beans, slaw, broasted potatoes and hot rolls. Quite a feast, enjoyed by all.
It has been a real roller coaster the last few weeks with a trip to Fountain Valley, CA for a Memorial service for son Dennis then back to Quartzite, AZ for a day or so and then back to Mesa, AZ.
We had some work done on the rear axle as well as a broken piece replaced on the power step mechanism. We are currently parked at Nancy B's in our usual RV parking spot for a while.
We will be leaving later in January to have the front brake pads replaced and attend a hamfest here in Scottsdale then off to Quartzsite for the 10 day hamfest.
