It was cool this morning and never did warm up very much. It was partly cloudy and we had a few showers so the temperature did not get over 62 degrees.

After the clouds broke up and the wind died a bit, we could see that it did more than rain up in the mountains. This is a photo of Charleston Peak at 11,915 feet.

The photo was taken late in the evening as the sun was only on the top of the mountain.

I am not sure just what will happen as we go toward Death Valley tomorrow. Some people say there is no phone service there, others say there is. We will just have to wait and see what we have when we get there. We may have to take the lap top and go out somewhere we can get a signal.

Sooooo, if you do not see anything or hear anything you will know why. We are planning on being there until about the 14th of November. It will be an interesting time with lots to see and do we are hoping.
