Not a lot going on here in Polk, Ne today. We did hear from Mike that Carlyn's surgery went well and she was uncomfortable, which is understandable. They have her on a strong sedative and a little after noon she was out of it and Mike came home. They are to get her up tomorrow and start therapy.

We took a trip to Central City, NE to do some laundry and get some groceries (no grocery in Polk) and have lunch at the DQ and escape some of the heat.

Came back home into the cool motor home as it was in the upper 90's outside.

There are several boys here at the basketball court practicing. The court is lighted until midnight and as soon as it cools off, they are out playing. Not much going on in the park during the day.
