The week went fast between Monday and thursday when we left for Peoria, IL for the superfest. We spent the night in Bloomington, IL and then on to Peoria on Friday morning. We got our spots and set up about mid afternoon and ready for business. This is a large facility with lots of area for the flea market as well as several buildings for the commercial vendors.
Things got underway Saturday morning at 7am and went until 5pm. The flea market area filled up early in the morning and there was a lot of people, but it really did not look like a lot as there was such a large area for them to shop.
Sunday it opened at 7am and went until 2pm. Not really a lot going on on Sunday, we were packed up and ready to leave by 2pm. We left and spent the night in Crawfordsville, IN and came on home stopping at Lebanon long enough to dump holding tanks. On our
way home we got a shot of a display of various animals that a farmer has built and displays in a field next to his home. We will try to get a better shot of it next time we are in the area. The other photo is of our set up at Peoria.
Tuesday we ran several errands, taking back misc. items not needed to finish the house. Wednesday, we got plastic pipe to make a frame for our banner as we will not have a wall to hang it on when we go to Ardmore, OK the end of next month for a hamfest.
Friday they brought a trailer in to put the roof material in and put on a new roof damaged by the hail storm the first of June. So, still a lot going on here in Fishers. One more appointment next Wednesday and they we will be free to get back on the road. Hopefully we will be more regular with our posting to the blog.
