Friday was just another day in the big city. I did some shopping for a watch battery and some flowers for the wife's grave for Easter as well as stopping by the post office and the bank.
Saturday, was cold and windy. Evelyn went shopping for some groceries and stop at the Dollar Store for some things. Seems all we do is go to the Post Office and the bank about every day. We watched some of the Masters golf tournament on TV and went to bed.
Up early for early church, at 8am, and Sunday school. The service was especially good with full orchestra and choir and a very good sermon. in Sunday school we talked about what Easter meant to each of us as well as how things were in Jesus' day and what was thought, when he was Crucified, and then rose on the 3rd day. It was a very interesting class with lots of good singing and discussion.
This is an important day to me, as I was born on April 12, which was also Easter Sunday. My birthday has fallen on Easter a few times but not many. I also share the 12th with a good friend from the Church as well.
The attached photo is of the coach and van with yours truly on the lift getting ready to do something, what, I am not sure, but there it is any way. This photo was taken in McKinney Falls State Park in Austin, TX. A really nice park with lots of hiking trails and a couple of falls to visit, however, not very wheelchair friendly.
