Not a lot going on Sunday, the day of rest. I did watch some football on tv, but the Colts loss made watching football a bit difficult. However, someone must win and move on and I will admit that the Colts had it won but could not make one more first down.
Monday we were up early. The sky was overcast but we could see the front to the west of us and by 10 or so it had moved out and we had bright sun and clear sky the rest of the day. The sun was nice and warm but in the shade you needed a jacket.
We went to the local welding shop and with the drawings and measurements I had made they quickly fabricated the brackets I needed for the tray/table for the new power chair. I have it painted now and will assemble it in the morning and see how it works.
The Mesa Lunch Bunch meets tomorrow for their monthly luncheon. This month is at Joe's BBQ in Gilbert, just south of Mesa. They know that I like BBQ and generally go to Joe's when we are in town. They really have good food and provide generous servings. Most of the HTC officers will be there as well. We volunteered to put the Polio Echo newsletter together tomorrow after lunch and get it ready to mail. Nancy is the Secretary this year, so she agreed to help with this project, and we will help as well.
Got the coach ready to roll on Wednesday am, as we will be going to Casa Grande for a week or so and attend the Old Time Fiddlers Jam and car show. Gas is still down in this area at $1.42 the best price we saw today. Hopefully it will stay down for a few months as we will be back on the road in early March.
