Another nice day in Texas, a bit windy but the breeze kept the heat down if you were out of the sun. Still windy this evening. Checked the radar and noting in this area, at least for 400 miles or so. Started on the motor home today. We washed the curb side and polished the lower portion and cleaned and treated the tires. Had dinner with the Drews, Church's chicken with some jalopena poppers on the side. Very tasty and tasted like Church's chicken back in Indiana. Everything here has a Texas twist, but not Church's chicken. Will try to get more done on the motor home tomorrow, weather permitting. They talk about rain in other parts of the state, but not here. I do not think they have rain here for months as everything is very dry, however the hay field behind the park is nice and green and appear to be doing well. There is a heavy dew each morning, so apparently that is enough moisture for things to stay green and growing. We have a nice covered patio here and with the awning on the motor home gives us a lot of shade as does the large Live Oak tree on the south side, so we stay very comfortable without running the AC except when there is not any breeze. Tomorrow is the day of rest, so that is probably what we will do. Watch the Colts and maybe the NASCAR race.
