Oct. 22
Cloudy and foggy this morning. It had rained a little during the night. Just enough to wet the street, not enough to do much good anywhere. The sun soon burned through the fog and we had a nice sunny day with a few clouds. A front came through this afternoon with a cool north wind and really cooled things down. We went to the Social hour at 4pm and when we came out the wind was really blowing so we took down the awning. When we went to play Mexican Train at 7pm it was getting cooler and still windy. Probably be quite cool in the morning so we got out the electric heater to take the chill of if needed. Not a lot planned for tomorrow special. Meet some new folks that returned to the park for the winter, we now have 63 members back and expecting more in the next couple of weeks. There are 123 spaces in this park so there are several yet to come. I understand some may not come for one reason or another, some due to health issues and others because of the cost of fuel. Our gasoline here is $2.42 but that was a few days ago. Not too bad compared to what it was, but still not good. Maybe it will keep going down as the price of crude is considerably lower than it was. Will just have to wait until after the election and see what happens.
