Not a lot going on this morning. Nice and sunny and not a cloud in the sky, as usual. Evelyn went to Hondo to get some items and filled the van with gas at $3.92. Price is certainly getting better but not good yet. On her way home she stopped at a BBQ place and the guy was just getting a brisket out of the smoker. She bought a pound of it and brought it home. You talk about good brisket, this was delicious, melt in your mouth, lip smackin good, and all the good things you can say about it. We may go back and eat in the restaurant and see what else they have. At the social hour at 4pm they were making arrangements to go on a Red Hat trip to a local restaurant. We returned to the rec hall to learn a new game, at least new to us, Mexican Train. This is played with double 12 dominos and is really a lot of fun. We had herd of it but did not know anyone that could teach us how to play. Back home in time to watch the 10 o'clock news and get to bed for another good nights rest and another good day in Texas. supposed to be down to about 50 tonight, may need some heat in the morning. Up to 85 in the afternoon.
