Oct. 3

We spent most of the morning recouperating from out trip to the Alamo. Caught up on the washing. Relaxed on the patio for a while and visited with our friend Carlyn while Mike finished their wash. Went to the Social Hour at 4pm for Root Beer floats and the latest news and happenings around the park as well as things going on in the community. There is always something going on. Many of the restaurants have specials for the seniors like discounts on certain days and discounted prices on their specials, so there is always something you can do. When you think about the influx of about 150 Rv'ers/families into a small town/community, that represents a lot of money over the winter. I understand that the local Dairy Queen has a special on their Taco Salad on Wednesday at 5pm. Should probably check that out next week.
Back to the Rec Hall for Bingo at 7pm and donated our money (did not win anything) and back home for some Pecan pie and off to bed. Not sure what will happen tomorrow, just wait and see where the spirits lead.
